How it all started...
2 Girl Geeks began when I (Julia) was launching my first holiday cottage - The Shooting Lodge at Mount Pleasant Barns. Having tried to do my own website and realised no matter what anyone tells you – it’s nowhere near as easy as it looks no matter what package you use, I then searched for a web design agency to help. The quotes were eye-watering, off-putting and way out of my budget. Then... a chance get together with a friend and colleague – enter Jodie, a chat about websites and...we decided to pool our skills and create our first website together www.mountpleasantbarns.co.uk. It was a great success and from there a cheeky little idea was born… websites for other holiday homeowners!

Our idea is to offer holiday cottage owners the professional resources they need at a sensible price. Simple!
We’re straight talking, “what you see is what you get” type of girls and you can be sure, we’ll give you kind, honest advice from the outset – no ‘floof’, waffle, jargon, smoke or mirrors! We won't leave you alone in the virtual wilderness that is webland - we'll work with you , help and guide you to get the website you want at a price you can afford.
As well as the super-pricey web design agencies, we know there are some providers out there offering DIY fill-your-own web templates at rock bottom prices. We’re floating comfortably somewhere in the middle! We promise, we’re not out to fleece you – we just want to give you a great job for a good honest price. We’re providing a personal service designed to make your place stand out from the crowd.
